Remington 870DM

Recommended Posts

I like it. I can see its potential as a urban shotgun with quick reloads. Still think the tube mag fed pump actons are sexier.

Meh, most shotguns remind me of a pop-pop Jones threatening an errant oppossum. But I'll readily admit that shotguns offer no usefulness to me whatsoever other than killing birds and busting clays. If I did neither of those things I probably wouldn't even own them. Just never got into them at all. Oddly enough I own a number of them.

The upside to this being made by Remington is it isn't subject to the "sporting clause" import bullshit.

I wonder if it works. ?

That was my first thought. Considering how bad Remington fucked the dog with their latest in house designs, I bet it's problematic.

Yeah. interesting, but Remington........so that ship sank.

I have two more older ones coming from my Dad someday, other than that, I can't see Buying from them.

I wonder if the 1100/11-87 or VersaMax will get this if the 870 does well. That could have some potential if it works right. Specifically the Versamax.

No real interest in a shotgun other than to own one just because.

Seems like this is getting a lot of interest online and on some other forums.
