376 styer

Recommended Posts

Just brought a styer scout in 376

It goes against my tradition of Lee Enfield rifles and will be my first plastic fantastic

Hope my shoulder is up to the task

Just for a bit :D

That's true. I'd imagine after a handful the nerves just give up on telling the shooter to quit.

I thought you were referring to the target. Sorry

Wonder why that round never took off here? Remember them introducing it but that was it.

Just speculating but cartridges success, during that time, in the US was determined by white tail hunting. It was a bit large for that. Plus it didn’t do anything that the others didn’t do.

I still don’t know that it would change now either. The shooting landscape has changed so much in the last 20 years. Far more shooters than hunters. Something like this just doesn’t do it for long range shooting and too expensive for short range defensive use.

Probably doomed from the start.

Looks to be about like a .308 Winchester kick with some heavy loads.

Yeah it wasn't too bad a lot less than I was anticipating, no doubt with the 300gr projectiles it will be worse
